Bandar bola (online football bookmaker) is one of Indonesia's highest-volume search categories for sports betting. gg189 covers every market Indonesian punters care about — from BRI Liga 1 weeknight fixtures to Champions League knockout rounds — with competitive Asian handicap lines and live in-play markets updated in real time.
Asian handicap — the most popular bet type in Indonesia. A voor bola (head-start handicap) is applied to the perceived weaker team, eliminating the draw outcome and creating a two-way market. Especially popular for BRI Liga 1 and EPL matches.
Bet on whether the total goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a line set by gg189. Common lines are 2.5 and 3.5 goals — a straightforward, widely accessible market for casual bettors.
Mix parlay (accumulator) lets you combine 3 or more selections across different matches into a single bet. All legs must win for the parlay to pay out — but the potential returns can multiply your stake significantly.
The classic three-way market: back the home team (1), the draw (X), or the away team (2). Straightforward odds, widely available across all leagues on gg189.
Predict the exact total number of goals scored, or choose from banded ranges (0–1, 2–3, 4+ goals). Adds depth to any match you're watching live.
Bet on whether both teams will find the net at least once. A popular option for attacking fixture-heavy match weeks in the EPL and La Liga.
gg189 offers betting markets across all major competitions followed by Indonesian punters: BRI Liga 1 (Indonesia's top flight, featuring Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, Bali United, and Timnas Indonesia players), English Premier League (EPL), La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup, and the AFF Cup (Piala AFF) — where Indonesia's Garuda squad commands passionate national support.
Asian handicap betting was developed specifically for Asian markets and is now used by bookmakers worldwide. gg189's dedicated football trading team updates lines within seconds of team news, injuries, and in-play events.

The classic South Asian card game beloved across Indonesia — three-card hands, multiple side bets, and live dealer variants streamed in real time from professional studios.
A fast-paced single-card guessing game with simple rules and near-50/50 odds. Live dealer and RNG versions available — ideal for players who prefer short, high-frequency rounds.
High-energy multiplier games where a rising curve can crash at any moment. Cash out before the crash to lock in your multiplier — titles like Aviator have become hugely popular across Indonesia.
Not all slots are the same. Understanding the different mechanics helps you choose games that match your play style and risk appetite.
The original slot format — three spinning reels with a single payline or a small fixed set of lines. Straightforward gameplay with no complex bonus rounds, making them ideal for beginners or players who prefer a simple, fast experience.
Five-reel games with multiple paylines (typically 10–50), animated themes, free spin rounds, and bonus features. The most common slot format on gg189 — diverse themes ranging from mythology to street food culture.
A portion of every bet placed across the network feeds a shared prize pool that keeps growing until one lucky player triggers the jackpot. Prizes can reach tens of billions of Rupiah — the biggest wins in the slot category.
A dynamic reel mechanic where the number of symbols on each reel changes with every spin, generating up to 117.649 ways to win in a single round. High volatility and large max-win potential make these a favourite for experienced players.
Winning symbols disappear and are replaced by new ones falling from above — allowing multiple consecutive wins from a single paid spin. Each cascade in a chain can increase a win multiplier, amplifying potential returns significantly.
Instead of fixed paylines, wins are formed by clusters of matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically anywhere on the grid. A fresh format that rewards sustained play sessions with growing cluster multipliers.
Understanding return-to-player percentages and house edge is the single most important piece of knowledge any bettor can have before placing real money.
Return to Player (RTP) is a percentage that describes how much of all money wagered on a game is theoretically paid back to players over a very large number of rounds. For example, a slot with an RTP of 96% will — over millions of spins — return Rp 96.000 for every Rp 100.000 wagered. The remaining 4% is the house edge: the mathematical advantage built into the game that allows the platform to remain commercially viable.
RTP is calculated over enormous sample sizes and does not predict what will happen in any individual session. A high-RTP game can produce a losing streak for a short-session player, while a low-RTP game can pay out a large win in a single session. The numbers describe long-run averages, not short-run outcomes.
At gg189, all certified RTP figures are independently audited and are available on individual game information panels. We encourage every player to check RTP before choosing a game — it is one of the clearest signals of long-term value. As a general rule: the higher the RTP, the smaller the house edge, and the better the theoretical long-run return for the player.
Understanding house edge also helps when comparing game categories. Blackjack played with basic strategy returns roughly 99% to the player — one of the highest RTPs in the casino. Roulette sits between 94–97% depending on variant (European single-zero is better than American double-zero). Slots are higher variance and typically range from 92–98%.
| Game Type | Typical RTP | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Blackjack (basic strategy) | ~99.0% | ~1.0% |
| Baccarat (Banker bet) | ~98.9% | ~1.1% |
| European Roulette | ~97.3% | ~2.7% |
| American Roulette | ~94.7% | ~5.3% |
| Video Slots (average) | 94–97% | 3–6% |
| Progressive Jackpot Slots | 92–95% | 5–8% |
| Crash Games | ~97% | ~3% |
Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is a legal and security requirement. Here is exactly what to expect — no hidden steps.
KYC protects both the player and the platform against fraud, money laundering, and underage gambling. It is a standard requirement on all internationally licensed betting platforms, including gg189.
You will need: (a) a clear photo or scan of your national ID (KTP Nasional), (b) a proof of address dated within the last 3 months (utility bill or bank statement), and (c) a selfie holding your ID next to your face.
Most verification requests are reviewed and approved within 1–24 hours. During peak periods (Idul Fitri, Indonesian Independence Day promotions), allow up to 48 hours. You will be notified by email once approved.
Once verified, your account is fully unlocked — deposit and withdrawal limits are raised, bonus eligibility is confirmed, and your account history is secured. KYC is a one-time process unless your documents expire.
gg189 is committed to providing a safe, controlled environment. Every registered player has access to the following tools — free of charge, at any time.
Temporarily suspend or permanently close your gg189 account at any time from your account settings. Exclusion periods range from 24 hours to permanent closure — your choice, honoured immediately.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps directly in your account dashboard. Limits take effect immediately when reduced and require a 24-hour cooling-off period to increase.
Define a maximum net loss threshold per day, week, or month. Once your loss limit is reached, gg189 will automatically prevent further wagering until your chosen period resets.
Set a maximum continuous play session length (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours). gg189 will display a prominent on-screen alert and pause your session when the limit is reached.
Opt in to receive on-screen pop-up reminders at regular intervals (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) showing how long you have been playing and your net result for the session.
gg189 provides a confidential self-assessment questionnaire based on internationally recognised problem gambling screening tools. If your results suggest concern, our support team is available immediately. 21+ only.
